Gerald Atkins is a beloved member of the Eugene music scene, working the door for uncountable punk and hardcore shows and doing vocals for a local hardcore band.

Gerald's health has taken a turn for the worse. In the middle of May, Gerald suffered a major cardiac event, resulting in hospitalization and an impact on his kidneys.

As Gerald prepares for surgery, dialysis, and a new chapter in his life, his family is looking for assistance for bills relating to his health and his wife's leave of absence from work to care for him. Current needs include regular bills, such as rent, phone, and car insurance, as well as medical supplies, and a comfortable chair for him to sit in during dialysis.
