Support Gerald's Fight Against Heart Failure

Hello friends and family! Those of you that really know Gerald, know that he is not a man who seeks handouts. Unfortunately, he went in for what he was thinking was going to be a quick fix, to get him feeling well enough to get back to work. He was delivered some devastating news. After 15 yrs of battling heart failure (heart is currently only operating at ONLY 11%), numerous surgeries, and countless days off work. He was forced into early retirement. Knowing that he will never get to fire up that work truck again was a hard blow. What is even harder, is him trying to figure out how to pay his house note, all the bills that come with it, and still managing to help support his children. On top of heart failure, he is suffering from cellulitis in both legs. Doctors are prepping to implant a LVAD. God willing, doctors hope he will then be eligible for a new heart.

I am creating the gofundme by the request of Gerald to ease the financial burden for himself & his girls. He has always been able to preserver on his own. Only the support of his friends, family, and most importantly his faith in God will help get his bills paid. His disability checks can take a couple months to kick in. In the mean time, he will not have any income. His medical bills & living expenses are piling up.
