Georgie’s Corner Bakery & Cafe has been a neighborhood gathering place and favorite coffee/pastry/brunch spot in residential Shadyside for the past 4 years. Increasing costs of ingredients and labor have made it impossible for Georgie’s to continue to operate their business as usual.

Georgie’s has been fortunate to employ some of the most talented, smart, competent, and hard-working bakers, chefs, cooks, dishwashers, and baristas in Pittsburgh. Georgie’s Corner’s main concern when making the difficult decision to close was the well-being of their staff.
