Support Georgie's Eastern European Orphans
Donation protected
My name is Georgie, and I am a retired nurse living in the United States. When war broke out in Ukraine, I immediately felt the need to help the refugees fleeing the country.
Since the start of the war, I have visited the Romania-Ukraine border four times, and have helped thousands of refugees single handedly. I have brought clothing, food, medical supplies and toys. I have spent all that I can personally to help those in need while staying over a month in total. I plan on returning to Eastern Europe again in July 2025, this time my focus will be helping the orphans.
In 1964, at age 11, I left Romania with my mom, dad, little brother, and 2 suitcases. No one in my family knew a word of English, and were thrust into a community that we didn’t understand. But we were coming to America, and that was a blessing in itself! I remember those who helped and taught us, so I feel it is my duty to give back to others. The orphan situation in Eastern Europe is drastic right now. The children have lost everything.
Every dollar that I receive will find it’s way to a child in need. I continue to pay for all my expenses. All the money donated to me will be given to those in need.
