Campaign Story:

Hey y’all, we’re coming together to lift up a queen in our community, the one and only Georgia Me (Tamika Harper). As many of you know, Georgia is a force of nature — a poet who’s graced the biggest stages and a nurturer who’s opened her home and heart to folks in need. Now it’s our turn to have her back.

Georgia is facing a battle with cancer and will be undergoing surgery on November 17th. We’re believing for a full recovery, but we also know she’ll need time to rest and heal. In the meantime, we’re raising $50,000 to cover her living expenses, medical costs, and the care of her son.

Georgia has always been a giver, creating a safe space for others to grow and thrive. Let’s be that village for her now. Anything you can give — no matter how big or small — will make a huge difference. Let’s show Georgia Me the same love she’s shown all of us.
