A Leap of Faith: From DC to Los Angeles
I’ve rewritten this a dozen times.

Because asking for help doesn’t come naturally to me.

For 15 years, Washington, DC has been my home.
It’s where I built my career from the ground up.
It’s where I coached 6AM sessions half-awake but fully committed.
It’s where I stayed late after class because someone needed to talk about more than squats and burpees.

Fitness has never just been a job.
I’ve watched people cry in front of me because they didn’t recognize themselves anymore.
I’ve seen confidence come back to life.
I’ve watched someone lose 50+ pounds and gain something way bigger — belief.

And through all of that… I found purpose.

But lately, there’s been a quiet voice asking me something hard:

Are you growing… or are you just comfortable?

DC has given me stability. Community. Love.

But growth doesn’t happen in comfort.

Los Angeles has been on my heart for years.
It’s bigger. Louder. More competitive.
And honestly? It scares me.

Starting over at this stage of my life is terrifying.

But every single transformation I’ve ever coached started the same way:

With fear.
With doubt.
With a decision to move anyway.

So this is mine.
Why I’m Raising $30,000

Relocating across the country and rebuilding in Los Angeles requires more than courage — it requires stability.

The $30,000 will cover:

• $12,000 – Housing & move-in costs
• $9,000 – Living expenses cushion while I rebuild my client base
• $5,000 – Business branding, marketing, and setup
• $2,500 – Moving & transportation
• $1,500 – Professional development & networking
This isn’t about chasing luxury.

It’s about not starting from survival mode.
It’s about giving myself a real chance to build something meaningful.

I’ve spent 15 years pouring into other people’s growth.
Now I’m asking — humbly — for support in mine.

❤️ What Your Support Really Means

If you’ve ever taken my class…
If you’ve ever danced in Zumba with me…
If you’ve ever heard me yell “one more rep” because I knew you had it in you…

Then you know I care deeply.

Your support isn’t just money.

It’s belief.
It’s someone saying, “I see you. Go for it.”
It’s community standing behind me the way I’ve stood behind so many of you.

Even if you can’t donate, sharing this or sending encouragement means more than you know.

I don’t want to look back 10 years from now and wonder what would’ve happened if I had been brave enough.

This is me choosing brave.

This is faith over fear.

And I promise — if you help me take this leap — I will work relentlessly to honor it.

Thank you for believing in me.
