Hello everyone,

We come to you all in need of help.
As you may all know George hurt his right knee back in February of this year. We didn’t know the extent of his injury at the time. We finally found out that he had a tear in his meniscus and in the medial area. Right before we found out that, it became too much for him to continue working.
He was seeing Dr. Degoyer @ the time the tear was found for an underlining condition were arthritis had built up and formed a lump at the bottom of his knee cap. So Degoyer referred George to Dr. Chough who George had seen prior to before referring to seeing Degoyer for alternative treatments.
Saw Chough again end of February’25. He stated “That I was stuck between a rock and a hard place..” He stated that I was nine out of 10 of being bone on bone in my knee but that he didn’t think that was enough to justify a total knee replacement at my age. So he referred me to Kadlec Orthopedic in Richland.
George saw Dr. Chad Williams in mid March ‘25. Dr Williams agreed that he needed a knee replacement surgery done but wasn’t sure at the time if it was going to be a total or a partial. He sent me back to Moses Lake until April 25 to have dental work done before scheduling surgery.
Went back on the 25th and got the news it would be a total as he looked @ the mri again and saw the tears in my meniscus. surgery was scheduled for May 12th.
On the 7th of May George got a call from Kadlec Orthopedic stating the Dr. Williams no longer worked for them and that his surgery was canceled until further notice which luckily you only took a couple days.
George had surgery on May 15 performed by Dr. Stanfield and is at home recovering well but will be out of work for another at least 6 to 8 weeks if not more depending on healing time. George’s PFMLA ran out 2 weeks ago so they are surging on Renee’s check alone and as much help as their daughter Brittany can help. Renee check covers the rent but doesn’t leave very much after that so we need help with our utility bills. George is currently trying to get on food stamps but have to have an interview with the state first and then see what happens.

We thank you all for reading our long story and love you all.
