My name is David and I am the oldest son of George Hokenson, who has blessed my family with 14 other siblings. His life is all about family. Our dad has always put family first. His entire life has been about providing the best possible life for us. My dads heart was never to small for all of us including his brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, mom, dad, in-laws and friends! His glow and presence has been felt by many. His friends have also felt his warmth and love.

Those of you who have been blessed with his warmth, humility, kindness and compassion know exactly the kind of person our dad is.

A little over 3 months ago, we found out that our dad has stomach cancer. We hold optimism high as we go further into the diagnosis and prognosis of his illness. We are hopeful and optimistic through prayers and gods love that he can heal quickly.. We are torn and heartbroken. Our hopes remain high and positive As there are still options. It’s is a shock to all of us especially our dad. We couldn’t be more blessed to have him to call Dad. He has always been there for every one of us. I can say, only from my perspective, that I was blessed the most from his love. I wasn’t the easiest kid to raise, yet he always supported me even though I was sometimes his headache. My siblings would say that they’ve been blessed the most as well. We all felt it! It’s our time to help support him with the help of his friends, family, and anybody who has been blessed to have our dad in their lives. I want to say thank you in advance to all who can contribute in prayer and healing for our dad. I wish I was half the man he is. Thank you again.
