Update 11/25/25. Thymus removal was a success in September. Last Monday 11/17 George had his cervical spine surgery; now in recovery with a neck brace. This would not have been possible with everyone’s help. Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart.
Update. 8/4/25 Today the neurologist approved the surgery. We are moving on to the next step and waiting for the oncologist to set the date. Thank you for all the prayers and support.
Our family is facing one of the hardest times of our lives. My husband, George, has recently been diagnosed with a cancer and is also recovering from a recent stroke. On top of this, George is preparing for surgery as part of his treatment plan. These back-to-back health challenges have taken a tremendous toll on George’s body, mind, and spirit—and the financial strain has been overwhelming. George is disabled after a back injury and degenerative disc disease, so this has been a hard journey.
To try and cover the growing medical bills, we have even put up our land and our family-owned small business, our food truck, for sale, but unfortunately, they have not sold yet. We are now turning to our community for help so we can focus fully on healing instead of worrying about finances.
Your donation—no matter how small—will go directly toward surgery costs, treatments, medications, and recovery needs. If you are unable to give financially, please consider sharing this page and keeping George in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for walking with us through this journey. Together, we can give George hope and strength to keep fighting.
With gratitude,
George & Regina Vega
