My name is Jennifer and I'm raising funds for my father's passing, including cremation, a memorial celebration, and grief counseling for my son and me.

My father, George West, is from a small Louisiana town called Ferriday. He played football in high school and went to the Oklahoma Military Academy and Louisiana Tech. He moved to Texas in the 1970s and pursued a career in commercial appraising, owning his own business.

He enjoyed hunting, fly fishing, skeet shooting, Harley riding, good friends, homemade vanilla Blue Bell ice cream, and Jimmy Buffett songs. His standard poodles, Spook, Gator, and Booray, were among the many dogs he had as loyal companions; he cherished their company immensely.

I am his only child and have been his caretaker for about 4 years now. He has absolutely zero assets, so the financial burden is placed directly on myself. This is where the funds are needed.
