On Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, my cousin George Wells was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident that has turned his a his family's world upside down. He sustained severe injuries, including a broken wrist on one arm, two breaks in the other arm, a broken pelvis, a shattered knee cap, three broken ribs, and internal bleeding. He was airlifted to Maryland Shock Trauma, where he is currently undergoing intensive care and multiple surgeries.

His first surgery on his arms began today and was expected to be between 3-6 hours, we are now on hour 7 and he is still in the operating room. This is only the beginning of a long and painful road to recovery. Over the coming weeks, he will face multiple complex surgeries, followed by an extended stay in the hospital and a transfer to a rehabilitation facility closer to home once he is stable enough.

His parents and sister have been by his side every step of the way. They are now commuting over an hour each way, everyday, just to be with him. This means missing work, increased travel costs, and an overwhelming emotional and financial burden, all while trying to support their son through the fight of his life.

We are raising funds to help ease this strain, to cover travel expenses, meals, parking, lost wages, and any unexpected costs that my family will face during this incredibly difficult time. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference and allow them to focus on what matters the most, Helping their son George heal.
