Support for George and Michelle Risner

Hello! My name is Emily Dunn Warner, and I am beginning to collect donations for George and Michelle Risner of Mt. Cory.

I recently got to know Michelle and George as Michelle babysits my 2 youngest Children. They are such wonderful people and I wanted to find a way to help them out, so I asked Michelle if it would be ok to do something like this for them! I am hoping you find time to read their story below, and consider to donate to help them in their time of uncertainty. If you are unable to donate I am asking for prayers for strength, and healing for George, and prayers for strength for Michelle.

On December 13th Michelle found George had fallen after suffering a severe stroke. His Speech was slurred and he was unable to get up. She called for help where EMS took him to BVH, by the time Michelle got to BVH they already had life flight in route to BVH and they transported him to Toledo for emergency Surgery.

The surgery was successful but George still has a very long road of recovery ahead of him. He is currently at St Rita's in Lima working on getting his movement, speech, and cognitive thinking.

The money donated will help Michelle and George with medical, travel, and many other expenses. Most importantly, it will help them focus on the recovery and healing journey without the financial stress, as George is unable to work and Michelle is needing to take off time to be there for him as well.
