On behalf of my family, I am reaching out to our friends, neighbors, and the wider Tewksbury community after a devastating fire destroyed my dad’s gas station. George Nicolas and his brother-in-law, John Greige, have been serving Tewksbury since 2000. For 25 years, their Tewksbury Center Mobil station has been more than just a place to fill up your tank—it’s been a trusted spot for car repairs, inspections, and a helping hand to anyone in need. George and John have always given back, from supporting local baseball teams to making sure every customer felt like family.
The loss of the station has left our family distraught and our dedicated employees suddenly without work. It’s hard to put into words how much this place meant to us and to so many in town. The road ahead is uncertain, but we’re determined to support our staff, take care of each other, and find a way forward.
We’re asking for your help to create personal care packages for our employees, provide some pay to help them through this tough time, and cover the many unexpected expenses we now face. Any support—big or small—will make a real difference as we try to rebuild and recover. Thank you for standing with us, and for being part of the community that George and John have loved serving for so many years.
