Support George David French's Battle with Esophageal Cancer

Hi! My name is George (David) French and I'm 57 years old, married to the love of my life, Denise, for 32 years, and we have a daughter who is our miracle baby girl, Felicia, who's 11 years old.

I was recently diagnosed with adenocarcinoma esophagus cancer back on April 10th after checking myself into the ER after 5 weeks of not being able to swallow solid foods. After many tests and being in the hospital for 2 days with testing, I finally saw my thoracic surgeon yesterday, and he said he will do my surgery.

I'm asking and praying for financial help to pay medical bills and to make it through when I'm off of work for my chemo and surgery and then chemo again.

I'm getting my chemo port put in tomorrow, Thursday. The surgeon is doing another scope of my esophagus to see the tumor for himself and then, at the same time, will install my J tube feeding tube robotically. Then, Friday, I go to my oncologist to hear what the tumor board came up with for my chemo regimen. The surgeon recommends 4 rounds of FLOT chemo every 2 weeks, and then a 2-week break after another PET scan, and then surgery to remove my esophagus and half my stomach, pull it up, and make it my food pipe, attaching it to just below my windpipe junction. Then, 6 to 8 weeks later, do another 4 rounds of FLOT chemo every 2 weeks.
