Late 2020, our dear friend George Bussey survived two back-to-back strokes. The strokes, and the medical procedures that followed, have damaged his eyesight and thrown off his balance. He is now unable to move his left arm or eat on his own. 

George's health insurance and Medicare only covered the hospital and rehab expenses for the first 60 days, while he has been in a facility for over three months now. Once George is able to swallow his food on his own, he will be discharged from the hospital but will require the 24/7 care of an in-home nurse. 

The funds we raise here will be used to cover the fees related to George's hospital stay, medical bills, speech therapy and his in-home nurse.
