I believe we are all aware of the situation our long tenured doorman Geoffrey Applewhite is dealing with, but in case you are not, he recently suffered two back to back seizures, one of which led to him breaking five ribs.

We are currently working on revising our building's PTO policy to better protect building employees from misfortune of this nature- which should be covered by coherent health insurance plans in a country with a modicum of concern for the dignity and well being of its citizens- but in lieu of that, as a short term financial remedy, and because we want Geoffrey to not feel like he must rush back to work until he's physically able, this Gofundme constitutes relief funds from building residents as a thank you for his decades of service to the people who live here.
