Help Geoff and Julie-Anne rebuild after the Jasper wildfire
Donation protected
We’re raising funds for our friends, Geoff Fraser & Julie-Anne Weaver, to help them rebuild & recover from the recent catastrophic Jasper wildfire that completely destroyed their family home.
On July 24/25th, the wildfire destroyed their home and everything in it, including a lifetime of keepsakes. It was the only home their two youngest children, Felix and Xavier, had ever known.
Geoff has been living in Jasper and teaching at Jasper Junior/Senior High School for 20 years. Julie-Anne has lived in Jasper for 11 years and is on maternity leave from her job as a realty advisor for Parks Canada. They’ve both been involved in local theatre projects and volunteered for various events over the years. They look forward to the day when they can move into their rebuilt home and get back to mountain biking, skiing, and hiking.
Your support will help this young family rebuild their lives in Jasper, particularly with additional living expenses such as temporary housing (while also paying their mortgage), daycare/preschool fees for both children, the daily commute from Hinton to Jasper for work, and purchasing items for their new home.
Every donation counts, regardless of the amount and as an added support, please consider sharing this fundraiser in your social channels to help us to reach a wider audience.
Thanks for your support!
Sabrena, Matt, Marcia and Ryan
Please note: All funds (after fees) will go directly to Geoff Fraser and Julie-Anne Weaver.
