Support Geno’s road to recovery!

As members of the Puritan Backroom Family, we are reaching out in order to get support for one of our own. Our friend and coworker Geno, was in a terrible accident on Friday the 29th of September. Geno was struck from behind by a truck while he was on his motorcycle, causing life threatening injuries. We are so happy to share that he has pulled through and is on a long road to recovery. He has some head trauma and several broken bones, which in turn will keep him out of work for the foreseeable future.

Geno has been an employee at the Backroom for 40+ years and he is such a presence in our kitchen. He is helpful, funny and always up for a good joke. Most often you can hear him singing in the kitchen, whether he’s making up his own words or having a jam session with his brothers. He is a wonderful father, brother, friend and coworker.

We are raising funds that will go directly to Gene for hospital bills and any other expenses needed to be covered during his long journey to recovery.
