Genice, our dear friend of over 30 years, has suddenly lost her beautiful son, Dasan. Gina Volpe and I are traveling over from NYC to Auckland within a few days to support her in her grief; to do our best to hold her up as she navigates this unfathomable loss. Genice has lived in Auckland for over 20 years with her husband Kristian as they raised their son, but Genice’s home is NYC and support from long term friends is important at this time.
Due to the expense involved in traveling to New Zealand, Gina and I will be selling some of our artwork in order to help raise funds towards travel costs. We'd also like to use these funds to offer to any other friends and family who may be able to make the journey.
