Shane. He was adventurous, funny, and a little mischievous, with an infectious laugh that could light up any room. At just 34 years old, he lived life with a fearless spirit—drawn always to the ocean, the open road, and the great outdoors. He loved fishing most of all, proudly calling himself a fisherman first and a biker second. Dirt bikes, Harleys- the hum of an engine were never far behind.
Over the years, he worked with passion and skill at Sideways Cycles, Lifestyle Cycles, LA Harley, Bartel’s, and Til Death Cycles, pouring his love of bikes into every turn of the wrench. But as much as he loved the ride, nothing compared to the joy he found in being with his daughter, Genevieve. He lovingly called her “Gena” or his “wild little one,” and the bond they shared was his greatest pride.
His absolute favorite moments were the simplest—taking her swimming, watching her laugh in the water, and sharing the wonder of the world with her. Of all the memories, the day he took her to the beach for the very first time stood out as his favorite, a perfect reflection of the love, adventure, and joy he wanted to give her.
He lived fully, loved deeply, and left behind stories and laughter that will carry on in those who knew him best.
This is for Genevieve. For Val, his true love. And for assisting them with this transition. All is appreciated.
