Hi, my name is Shaynna. I am creating this for my fiancé, Gene. He is one of the kindest and most hardworking souls I know. He has held one, if not two, full-time jobs since he was 14. Just recently, we went to the ER for what appeared to be an infection in his big toe; it turned out it was much more than that. In the last week, we have found out that he is a diabetic who needs to take insulin, and he is going to need to have his big toe (and possibly second) amputated. He never asks anyone for help. He is such a self-sufficient individual. But with this news, we need a little help. We just bought a house in June, and he doesn’t have insurance. After spending a week in the hospital, the bills are going to add up, not to mention he will be out of work for a while. I hate asking for help. But I really don’t know where else to turn.
