In the early morning hours of May 30th a beautiful soul was taken far too soon. Gene was an amazing person. His infectious smile could brighten anyone’s day. He always wore that smile and greeted everyone he passed either with a high five, a fist bump, or a “hey, what’s going on?!”.  He was quick to talk sports in the morning breakfast line, always sharing his excitement of his beloved St. Louis Cardinals. Gene was a great father, husband, son, brother, co-worker and friend. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. I know he will be looking down on all of us watching his beautiful girls grow. Until we meet again my friend. May you Rest In Peace.
