Help Support Gene Lombardi and Family

On November 5th, our family received a call that shattered our world. My brother, Gene, was driving home from work when his trailer suddenly came undone. While trying to fix it on the side of the highway, he was tragically struck and suffered severe brain and bodily injuries. Gene has a long and difficult road to recovery ahead of him. He is currently being treated at a Level 1 Trauma Center, two hours away from home. His wife, children, and our family are staying nearby to be close to him during this unimaginable time. Gene is a 1099 employee, which means he will be unable to work for the foreseeable future. His wife has also had to take a leave from her job to stay by his side. The emotional and financial toll of this tragedy is something no family can ever truly prepare for.

While Gene would never ask for help himself, we are humbly reaching out on his behalf. Any contribution — no matter the size — will go directly toward medical expenses, travel costs, accommodations, and daily needs for his family as they navigate this incredibly difficult journey. And if you can’t give financially, your prayers and positive thoughts mean just as much to us.
