Gene St. Clair has been volunteering for CVLW (& formerly Center Li’l Trojans) for over 25 years. Most of you now know him as our beloved announcer & a friendly face seen on game days but he’s also a former President & board member, coach, mentor, banquet MC & much more. I like to call him the CVLW “OG”. He’s done so much for us throughout the years that we named our field after him in 2019. Outside of CVLW, he’s a middle school football coach, police officer, school resource officer, veteran, father, proud pappy, son, friend & even Santa (shhh).

In April, Gene was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the throat. Thankfully, the doctors are confident they can treat Gene successfully & get him back to good health but his fight is just beginning. This week he started chemo & radiation treatments for the next 7-9 weeks.

Gene has been such an essential part of our village & has given so much of his life to our organization, our kids & this community. He’s literally our voice. It’s our turn to give back & show him the support he deserves. #COACHGENESWARRIORS
