Support Gene and Amy Through Tough Times
Donation protected
Hello all,
This page was created for our dear friends Gene and Amy Corrigan. Those who know them, love them. Those who don’t personally know them, here are just a few adjectives to describe them: kind, giving, selfless, simple, faithful, loyal, funny, and humble.
Amy and Gene have had a troubling month. Amy’s Mom, Joan, passed away unexpectedly on April 3, 2024. As Amy began to process her profound loss, Gene was struggling with his health-related issues.
On April 19th, Gene was having a stent procedure done. During the procedure, his Cardiologist found several blockages in his heart. He stopped the procedure, and had Gene transferred to Milwaukee. On April 23rd, Gene had a successful quadruple bypass surgery, and is now recovering in the hospital. In the near future, he will have more procedures done on his legs and feet. Gene has not been able to work since 2019 due to diabetic amyotrophy.
This GoFundMe page is an opportunity for us to come together as a community, and rally behind Gene and Amy during this challenging season. Your prayers, words of encouragement, and donations will provide them with the support they need to navigate through this storm with grace and hope.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our page, and for considering how you can contribute to Gene and Amy’s well-being. If you would like to stay updated on Genes progress, the CaringBridge link is below.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Gratefully,
Kelly Case (Amy’s Cousin) and Jim & Cathi Leibforth (Friends)
