Hey everyone - our dear friend Charley is undergoing a journey towards gender-affirming care.

We've set up this gofundme to allow everyone that cares about Charley to support them in this journey towards life-changing surgery.

We love Charley - their warmth, humour, thoughtfulness and dedication to friends, community and the wider, broken world around us all. We know how much this surgery means for them, and how it will open up worlds of possibility that were closed off for so many years.

Unfortunately, the NHS process and waiting list is currently so long and filled with uncertainty, scrutiny and anxious waiting - this means that taking the private route is now a necessary option.

Charley has been saving up for some time, working multiple jobs to make this work. We know just how much assessment, surgery, and post-op recovery care costs, and we want to contribute where we can to this important part of their journey.
