Hello, my name is Yesenia Esteban, though many of you know me as Sarah. In 2013, I met my now husband, Geiner Esteban. He played four years of football in high school as a lineman and center, and he was also in the marching band, playing percussion. When I met Geiner, he was doing missionary work for the congregation we both assist. He is one of the silliest, most fun, outgoing, and loving men I’ve ever known. Never did I think I would find such an amazing partner.

Over the years, Geiner’s health has declined. In the past two months, we’ve been in and out of the hospital, and just last month, due to his health, he had to have his right leg amputated from the knee down. By the mercy of God, my husband is still here with us today. As I am the only one working, and with the help of his family, we have managed to cover bits and pieces of the medical bills and necessities, as well as everyday bills and food. However, it is becoming increasingly difficult for us to keep up.
