Support Gedlom’s Medical Needs

Hello everyone,

My sister and I are reaching out for help as we support our father, Gedlom. He has been in and out of the hospital since April 2025, battling a life-threatening infection that requires multiple future surgeries. Before his illness, he has always prioritized our needs, and now we want to return that care.

Since his initial hospitalization, he has accumulated significant medical debt due to 11 surgeries and faces ongoing expenses for housing, food, medical supplies, and medication. He spent four months in the hospital and was discharged last month.

Both of us are working to cover these expenses, but the costs are overwhelming. Managing both our sick parents, along with our mother’s ongoing illness has been very difficult. We are seeking assistance to help pay for his medical needs, including medication, wound care supplies, and housing until he can return for his next surgeries.

As college students, I have paused my education, and my sister is struggling with the decision to continue her studies or pause them again to focus on our family's needs.
