With immense love and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Gecory Jeremiah Reed, known to many as Cory, on April 1, 2025. Born on August 8, 1986, in Dallas, Texas, it is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to this amazing soul who has left an indelible impact on many lives.

Gecory attended Sam Houston High School and graduated in Arlington, Texas. He and his friends started a singing rap group called “The Game Boys,” which was part of him living his dream. I am incredibly proud of Gecory for pursuing his dream and continuing his education at Texas Southern University. He dedicated 12 years of his life to banking, serving as a respected Retail Bank Manager in Kennesaw, Georgia.
