Supporting Our GCG Employees and Communities in the Wake of the Hurricane

In times of crisis, it's essential to come together as a community. At GCG, some of our own employees have been directly impacted by the recent hurricane, particularly those near our Spartanburg location. We are actively working to support these families. The GCG warehouse in the area has become a safe haven for those needing a place to regroup and get supplies. With water and electricity still available, this warehouse is providing crucial relief, offering a place for employees a safe space as they begin to recover.

We’ve been sending pallets of essential supplies like food, water, toiletries, and sleeping bags to the Spartanburg warehouse to ensure our teams have what they need. Our HR department has also stepped in, extending wages for employees taking time away from work to help mitigate any disruption to their income during this difficult time. We are asking all GCG team members and friends to help in any way they can.

With power outages likely to continue until at least October 5th and water being intermittent, we are constantly assessing the needs of our employees and looking for additional ways to assist.
