My name is Mack and I am mother to a sweet kitty named Gazebo! Gazebo woke up in agonizing pain this weekend so I immediately took him to the ER vet. Immediately, the staff and doctors knew he had a urinary blockage. After an ultrasound and testing, they discovered he has an unusually large stone stuck in his bladder as well as a severe UTI caused by the stone. Stones are common in cats and can usually be treated by a specialty diet, but due to the size of Bebo’s stone and the accompanying infection, his will need to be surgically removed in order to avoid further life-threatening complications.
