Support Gazan Children's Journey to Safety

Assalamu Alaikum, my name is Osama Ramadan Bakron.
This‏ fundraising is meant for the evacuation of my family from Gaza. The cost of evacuation is exactly $5,000 per person and since losing our livelihoods it has become impossible for us to raise any amount.

‏Since 10/7/2024, we have been suffering from oppression, injustice, fear, and displacement from one region to another.

‏Where the suffering began from the first moment of the war and was increased by bombing next to our neighborhood, which led to the injury of my first son, and there was no treatment or place in the hospital for him to sleep there, which prompted us to treat him in the place of displacement, knowing that for more than two months he had not eaten anything other than juice, water, and soup.

‏This is in addition to the suffering of displacement, which is as follows: The displacement began on October 13, 2023, Friday, according to the army’s decision to move us to south of the Gaza Valley. Indeed, the displacement took place on the same day to the Nuseirat area, and after that, a residential area in Gaza was destroyed, which is the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, where our house was completely destroyed. We lived in an apartment in a tower. Residential and all the neighboring towers were destroyed.

‏Note that an apartment of mine had been destroyed before that in the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood within the family’s home, and it has been a miserable life, and it has increased our suffering. We have been deprived of our work, our source of income, and all members of my family are living within a suffocating financial crisis.

After that, we were displaced to the Rafah area, based on the army’s instructions to move from the central region, and we searched for a tent, shelter, or any place for shelter here, after searching for any place to rent, whether an apartment or a shop. However, the astronomical amounts for rent, the lack of places, and the high demand prevented us from having a place. For rent, which forced us to strive hard to get even just a tent. The situation was very, very difficult due to the weather conditions and the crowding of people.

‏Since then, we have been living in dire conditions in which there was nothing but canned and expired food, and it caused us many diseases. Our living conditions continued to decline as there was talk of an invasion. Rafah, and other areas were displaced for the third time to the Deir al-Balah area, and then again we were displaced to the Nuseirat area, due to the lack of a place and the large number of displaced people.

‏Once again, life was not clear for us, as there was bombing near the place of our displacement, and therefore we were displaced again back to the Rafah area due to the severe bombing of the Nuseirat. Displacement has continuously taken place in the Rafah area to date, and we have been reduced to a primitive life in the twenty-first century.

‏Is this possible in this period of life, where civilizational progress, technology, and scientific progress are taking place? Today, our entire world has become a small village of humans who have witnessed horror that is impossible to forget, and we do not have any of the necessities of life, even electricity, to the extent that a person charging his mobile battery requires effort and money, and of course the mobile phone has become in a period of time only a flashlight, as there is no internet.

‏Our communication with the world was cut off during the past six months and we now live in cramped tents. Bathrooms are far away, and we also suffer from lack of clothes. The suffering continues endlessly, and we fall asleep not knowing if we will wake and we wake not knowing if we will fall asleep. Our lives are in worse shape than the rubble we survive in.

Seen here is an image of my son who was injured in the bombing.

‏It is hard to describe the life that we have been reduced to because it is so different from the life of the fortunate. May Allah reward you all for taking the time to read our accounts. He is All Seeing and all destiny belongs to him.

‏I pray that one day I may testify before Allah that you helped my family when we needed it the most.

‏To God we belong, and to him we return.

Any amount collected here will first be used to evacuate my children. The funds will be allocated to volunteers from the USA who will facilitate the transfer to the evacuation organization operating here in Egypt.
