The violence in Gaza has reached unimaginable extremes, with brutality escalating every day beyond what we ever thought imaginable. In response, Healthcare Workers for Palestine LA Chapter is launching a campaign to raise funds for families in Gaza.

The Emad Hassan family, from Deir al-Balah, is one of the families we aim to support. Since October 7th, they’ve been displaced nine times, and over 90 of their relatives have been martyred. Now living in a makeshift tent in Gaza City, this large family—two elderly parents in their 80s, nine adult children, and their families—has endured 18 months without adequate shelter, electricity, or medical care, while perpetually under the threat of bombardment. Our support in providing financial resources offers a small but vital measure of agency, a step toward reclaiming the dignity and hope that has been systematically stripped away.
