Support Gayle and her family as she battles Cancer

In February 2023, our lovely friend and colleague Gayle Cotton was diagnosed with Stage 3 Bowel Cancer at just 45 years old. While the early stages of her treatment had showed some improvements, she recently learned that there is increased activity and surgery is not possible. She is now waiting to hear what is next on her treatment plan.

Gayle and her loving Husband, David, have two beautiful young children (Henry, 14, and Emily, 11) and the impact on their lives has been immense. David and her family have been by her side every step of the way, providing unwavering love and support. But as Gayle continues to undergo medical treatment, the expenses and the financial strain on the family is challenging.

We are reaching out to our Community to help raise funds to support Gayle and her family. Your donations will allow them to cover medical expenses, investigate other potential treatments, childcare costs and other necessary family expenses that will give them some relief from financial pressures at a time when things are most difficult for them.

Anyone who knows Gayle knows that she’s not completely comfortable with accepting help, but we have had so many offers and enquiries for how people can help, so we hope that this provides an opportunity to support for those that wish to do so.

Gayle is one of the most selfless, funny and caring people you could ever hope to meet, and it is heartbreaking that her and her family are enduring this. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference to their lives.
