In my 60s, I have faced unimaginable loss and hardship over the past couple of years. My husband of 38 years passed away in November 2023, and just four months later, my beloved granddaughter also passed away. The grief has been overwhelming, and it has made daily life incredibly challenging. In September 2025, I lost my job, adding financial stress to an already difficult situation.
On top of this, I am dealing with serious health issues. I need back surgery, and my left ankle was destroyed in a car accident many years ago. I have worked since I was 15, but now I am trying to get disability benefits—a process that can take years. In the meantime, I am struggling to make ends meet. I suffer from anxiety and Bipolar Depression 1, and despite my best efforts, I have not been able to find new employment.
The funds raised will help me pay my mortgage, keep up with utilities, and buy food while I wait for disability benefits and focus on my health. My sincere thank you to anyone who could help. These are really hard times for a lot of people, and contributing to my request just might restore my faith in humanity—that there are still good people out there.
