Support Gay Douglas & Family Through Brain Tumour Crisis

Friends, family & kind souls,

A beautiful person in our community - and her family - need our support. Gay Douglas is my "second mom" and she is family. For those of us who've been fortunate to have Gay in our lives, we know she shines bright and her dedication to the Niagara community through charitable work and business has been immeasurable.

Gay's children Aaron and Shannon were shocked and their lives changed dramatically on Jan 26th, when Gay was admitted to hospital in Niagara Falls - and the news has not been good.

Gay has a cancerous treacherous brain tumour which is rapidly growing, and is inoperable. They await biopsy results to determine how far the cancer has spread.

Unfortunately, the tumour was affecting Gay's cognitive abilities for at least the last year, unknown to her family or even herself. She wasn't in a condition to manage her financial affairs, and now family needs to help her tend to these urgent matters, while at the same time they are reeling from Gay's sudden and devastating diagnosis.

Donations will be gratefully used to maintain Gay's finances during this health crisis, put out some immediate fires, and to help provide Gay with comfortable and quality care during this difficult chapter. I know we all would love for Gay's family to be able to focus on what matters most - being together and holding her close.

Gay has spent her life selflessly helping others - spreading her love and light and filling rooms with laughter. Please help the Douglas Family with your love, prayers, & support during this time of crisis.
