Update: Gavyn had surgery today. He now has a trache and he is on a vent to help him breathe more comfortably. He has a feeding tube for nourishment. He is able to respond to commands by squeezing with his right hand. He looks so good and he is healing. Please keep him in your prayers and if you can, donate.

My name is Kelly Fournier. I've started this GoFundMe on behalf of the Snyder/Burns family. On May 17, 2024, Gavyn Snyder suffered from an unexpected medical event. He had an aneurysm. He called his parents to say his head hurt very badly and he couldn't feel his legs. In the short time it took them to get to him, he was seizing and not breathing. Gavyn has been in the ICU ever since, having undergone several neurological procedures to alleviate pressure on his swelling brain.

Gavyn is a wonderful young man with his whole life in front of him. He is an artist, and an avid gamer. He has close friends that miss him. He has an older sister and four step siblings in his blended family that worry for both him and his mother.

His parents have not left his side. This has left them unable to work for the time being, until Gavyn is able to recover. I am hoping that the funds collected can go to medical expenses & household expenses, plus anything Gavyn will need afterwards.
