On May 11th, 11-year-old Gavin was complaining about headaches and he was unable to keep his balance. Jillian brought him to the ER where they discovered that he had an infection in his brain. He was then transported to Wolfson Children's Hospital for emergency brain surgery. Gavin was in good hands at Wolfson and the surgery went well. He will remain at the hospital while the doctors continue to treat the infection. After he is released, he will need a home health aid and constant supervision for 6 weeks while he recovers.
I started this fund to help relieve some of the financial burden from Jillian, so she can focus on caring for Gavin. She is a single mother and this money will help her with medical expenses, lost time at work, and meals while she is away from home.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
