Hi Everyone. For those that know, Gavin is a happy 11-year-old kid. He loves doing things with the family (board & card games, family fun games, building Legos, and loves competition and challenges). He's now dealing with the biggest challenge of his life, battling a rare form of cancer, DSRCT (Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor).

What started off as stomach pain, which turned into several visits to the pediatrician, ended up with us at the hospital finding out the worst news ever. Two days later, he underwent surgery to get a biopsy of the masses in his stomach, as well as got a port put into his chest. Since then, he has undergone so many scans (MRI, CT, Bone), x-rays, labs, and a ton of medicine, including chemotherapy. We have been in the hospital for over a month, and he has undergone 2 chemo sessions already. Once we leave the hospital, he will have many more medical appointments, and each chemo session after, he will need to be admitted back to the hospital for treatment and possibly could need blood transfusions in the future.

He's been such a strong boy through all of this. He does what's being asked, he hasn't complained or cried, and has shown us what real strength is.

Any donation given will go towards his medical expenses and ongoing care, as it'll be a long road to recovery.
