If you know Gavin Glynn, you know he is a very funny and witty man. Truly. No one laughs harder at his jokes than he does! I have known this man for over 50 years, and we never stop laughing together.

He needs our help now. In the last few years, Gavin has been experiencing health issues, not the least of which was open-heart surgery. Currently, he has developed a profoundly serious staph infection from a large wound in his chest. The infection is so severe that he has had a PICC line inserted. For those of you who may not know, a PICC line is a soft, flexible tube that is inserted into a person’s arm and follows the vein until it reaches the large vein above the right side of the heart. In Gavin’s case, the PICC line is supplying strong antibiotics to stop this dangerous infection.

On the other side of his body, he has a vacuum that draws fluid and infection from the wound site.

Gavin will not be able to work for the next 6-8 weeks. Unfortunately, in his line of work, he does not get paid when he is off. This means he will not have any income over the next several weeks.
