My name is Gavin Castellanos I am 18 years old and a current freshman at UNT, in June of this year my step dad commited suicide leaving my mother heartbroken and alone. During Labor Day weekend I came down to visit her from college for her birthday when she told me she was going to Colorado to visit a friend. She went missing up there for about a month until she committed suicide as well .

My father passed away when I was young from a drug overdose and I don’t have any family in Texas

They left me penniless and without warning with responsibilities that are hard for me to keep up with while I’m in this grieving process . I am asking for help with some bills and expenses that have come up since my mom’s passing , as well as help with school as I would like to continue my education .
