Kelly Gately—charismatic powerhouse, talented musician, and force of human nature, is facing a challenging new chapter in life. Last week, Kelly (aka “Gator”) was admitted to Providence Hospital in Portland as he had been experiencing recurring seizures and loss of vision. After several days of hospitalization and assessment, he was diagnosed with epilepsy. The doctors are working with him on treatment; however, the condition has brought unexpected changes and uncertainty. He is not permitted to drive, resulting in an unprecedented loss of income, making it difficult to maintain the stability and independence that is so important to him, and he’s facing a mountain of medical bills.

As Kelly focuses on his health and recovery, the emotional strain, sudden loss of transportation, and the ongoing costs of daily living have become overwhelming.

We all know and love the man, the myth, the legend—Gator.
