My beautiful sister has contracted Guianne-barre syndrome about a month ago. This is a horrible disorder where your own white blood cells attack your nerves. She is basically paralyzed from the neck down. Once released from the ICU at Wesley she will need extensive rehab which will be painful and can last up to a year. Aetna insurance would like to just send her to a skilled nursing facility but that’s unacceptable. She need to go to a clinic that specializes in neurological rehab. If you feel it in your heart to contribute in any way my family will be eternally grateful.
