This Spring, doctors discovered a large tumor on my brother's brain. The tumor must be removed immediately, as it is affecting his daily functions, and is either pushing on or wrapped around his carotid artery. His surgery is set for June 27th in Madison with both a neurosurgeon and vascular surgeon present. They will need to remove part of his skull to reach the tumor. He will need at least 6-8 weeks of recovery afterwards. Once the tumor is biopsied, we will know whether or not it is cancerous and if further treatment is necessary.

In the meantime, Gary has been unable to work and will not be able to work during his recovery period.
