Hi, my name is Percy Hampton, I'm raising money on behalf of my brother Gary Hampton. On April 5th, Gary was brutally assaulted by a homeless man in front of his own property and sustained a very traumatic neurologic head injury. He now has a significant brain injury and will need massive medical care, which has changed his course of life. He has a long road to recovery. The whole neighborhood is grieving this terrible crime that happened to a pillar of the community. He has dedicated much of his life to community activism, including a decade serving on the Eliot Neighborhood Association.
