Support Gary's Family in Memory of Rocio

Hi my name is Gary and I am fundraising for my wife Rocio. Please forgive the length. I wish there were a condensed version of this story. If anyone has ever met Rocio they would immediately see she is the sweetest person ever and how socially vibrant and funny she is. She is always happy, talking, smiling, and making light of everything in life and making it easier for anyone around her. They may also know she lives with systemic lupus.

In the year 2021, she lost her father to covid while he was visiting us from Peru, where she is from. We lost my sister to cancer shortly thereafter. Then my sweetheart Rocio was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic breast cancer herself.

Since then, things have never been the same. We adopted conventional and non-conventional ways to help her heal from everything she just experienced and protect her from conventional medicine's side effects. She went vegan, drank cold-pressed juices and green smoothies every day, got active and removed anything hygienically that could be toxic. We made many changes to and in the house and sought alternative/natural treatments/therapies to promote healing physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

After 2 operations, she had done very well for a year with the cancer slowly going away, but then she started developing hormone and liver complications, so we stopped her conventional cancer medications to allow for recovery. In Dec 2022 she slipped into months of chronic daily nausea and vomiting unable to eat solids getting weaker and weaker and laying down most of the time taking a toll on her spirit. After working with our oncologist, OB, gastroenterologist, endocrinologist, and integrative oncologist (naturopath) a March 2023 MRI revealed the cancer spread to the brain and her condition is the result of hormone organ failures and they want to do radiation on the whole brain.

There's nothing worse than seeing someone you love lose hope and their zest for life and that light in their eyes but our integrative oncologist encourages us that recovery and remission are very possible with radiation and continuous natural support. If you donate your money would be used for the out of pocket expenses of going the natural way that is not covered by insurance.

Rocio, if you see this please forgive me for sharing our story but I love you and if this can bring about a miracle and put the sparkle back in your eyes knowing how many people love and support you then they need to know and you need to know we all ❤️Love You❤️

Since then, my most precious Rocio went to be with Jesus on the night of June 2nd, 2024. I wanted to see if we could raise $10,000 in order to pay bills while I take sone time off work for us to learn to navigate this situation and mourne. I will miss my wife, the light of my life terribly. I love you so much Rocio
