Support Gary Ward's Road to Recovery

Hi, I’m Mike Furr and I’m raising funds for Gary Ward, a local musician and friend who has been hospitalized on and off for over five weeks since a fall in his home.

Initially Gary was treated for Rhabdomyolysis which caused kidney failure and resulted in a 4 week hospital stay. After his release, Gary continued to have severe pain in his right foot which was thought to be an infection but was later diagnosed as neuropathy. As a result, Gary has been back in the hospital for an additional week and whenever he is released, faces intense physical therapy.

An initial Go Fund Me was launched for Gary and raised $2015. Gary was humbled and overwhelmed by this outpouring of support. That initial account has been closed. After sitting down with Gary and reviewing his obligations, we believe an additional $6000 is required to bridge the gap until Gary can resume teaching guitar lessons and playing gigs full time.

Gary is not the type of person to ask for help but he definitely needs it right now.
