Support Gary Stromquist

Our friend, Gary Stromquist, has been an iconic member of Izatys Resort and Golf Club for many years. After retiring from a sales career, he joined the Izatys crew and has helped out or worked in every department. He has plated dinners for events, helped at the front desk when needed, mowed the course, worked in the Pro Shop, and so much more. Some of this was done on his days off and often without compensation.

He was responsible for redoing the Beverage Cart, opening and running the store, remodeling and landscaping the Bump N Run, and remodeled the Pro Shop while recovering from hip surgery. These things were done for the previous owners. They did not have the funds for the Pro Shop remodel, so Gary took out a personal loan to complete the project. They did start paying Gary back but when the sale was completed, they reneged on their commitment leaving Gary with a substantial amount of debt. As you probably know, the new owners substantially cut back Gary's hours to where he was working about one day a week.

Gary is a vet and because of his service he has had several medical issues. This winter alone he had two surgeries which have prevented him from working. Hopefully, he will be back at Izatys this Spring.

Gary has always put the customer first in the Pro Shop and has been a friend to all of us. We are hoping that we can get together to help out our friend. Please consider a donation to help Gary repay the loan and to help with other expenses.
