Gary Robertson, beloved father, husband, and brother, passed away on May 25, 2026, after a courageous battle with melanoma that metastasized to his brain. Although an Air Force veteran and career nuclear engineer, Gary's insurance will not cover all his medical and hospice bills, funeral, and transfer to his hometown to be buried with his family. The burden falls to his daughters, Carrie and Alison, and wife Julia, who have taken leave from work for the past several months to stay by their father and husband's side. The Robertsons wish to honor Gary's final wishes for a traditional Catholic funeral and burial with his family in Kentucky.
