Gary and I have been friends since we started working together back in 1992. Over the years, he’s become more like family than a friend, always there for me and for everyone in our circle. Yesterday, Gary suffered a stroke, and it’s turned his world—and Mika’s—upside down. He’s facing a long road to recovery, and the challenges ahead are overwhelming, especially since he doesn’t have medical insurance. Mika, his wife, will need to take time off work to care for him, which means their household income will take a big hit right when they need it most. Medical bills, therapy, and everyday expenses are piling up fast, and it’s a lot for anyone to handle alone. Gary would never ask for help like this, but I know he and Mika would do anything for any of us if the tables were turned. That’s why I’m reaching out to our community—to ask for your support in helping them get through this incredibly hard time. They have a dream of moving to Japan together, and I want to make sure this setback doesn’t take that away from them. Your kindness and generosity can help ease their burden and bring them hope for the future. Thank you for anything you can give, and for keeping Gary and Mika in your thoughts.
